Why SOLAS Compliance Is Non-Negotiable for Modern Vessels

I was buying a puppy. The seller sent it via air freight. Now mind you I was told that everything was paid for. After the puppy was dropped off. They told me I had to come up with $500 for him to have a special crate because of the weather. I came up with that. They said they were in flight. I would have to come up with another $1500. For a city Certificate fee or he would be Is quarantined for ten days. So I had to come up with more money. Then it was to late to deliver him. They would deliver him to my house first thing in the morning. OK, I woke up to them asking for another $1000. For a passport fee so they can get him on a flight. Wow, wait a minute. So they can get him on a flight? They had already told me that he had been flown in the day before. What is going on? 😳 I\'m not paying another dime and that\'s what I told them. I\'m being scammed. Why wasn\'t I notified of these fees prior to. Nope, they are not getting another dime from me. I have now lost out on the dog (if there ever was one) and way over $1200. .
